TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE HIGH PERFORMANCE SUMMIT – MAY 2025
RELATIONSHIP TO STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions for the High Performance Summit in May 2025 are additional to the standard terms and conditions of The Bank of Knowledge Limited (‘TBOK’). In the event of any conflict between these Summit-specific terms and TBOK’s standard terms, the terms for the High Performance Summit will take precedence.
These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of tickets for the High Performance Summit held in Marbella in May 2025, jointly hosted by The Bank of Knowledge Limited (‘TBOK’) and Oliver Thompson Training (‘OTT’). By purchasing a ticket for this event, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing, and retain a copy for your records.
1. TICKET PURCHASE AND PRICING
1.1 The purchase of a ticket entitles the attendee to access all three days of the High Performance Summit, which includes set refreshments and lunch. Travel, accommodation, and incidental expenses are the sole responsibility of the attendee.
1.2 Tickets must be paid for in full at the time of booking, and access to the summit will not be permitted until payment has been received.
1.3 Attendees must create a free account via the TBOK website to complete order purchases.
2. REWARD POINTS
2.1 Attendees will earn reward points for their ticket purchase, credited within 14 days of the event’s start. The points will be credited based on membership tier as follows:
- 10% of the ticket price for regular customers.
- 20% of the ticket price for Premium or Premium Plus members of CH4B.
2.2 CH4B are an associate company to TBOK and OTT but not directly involved in the High Performance Summit.
2.3 Reward points are managed by an independent rewards point platform who are an associate company, not affiliated to TBOK or OTT. TBOK assumes no responsibility for any issues related to the reward points system.
2.4 Reward points will be order by TBOK within 14 days of the start date of the High Performance Summit and are typically applied to the attendees reward points account within 48 hours of the order date and up to 5 working days.
2.5 It is the attendees responsibility to set up the appropriate rewards point account with the provider specified at the point of ticket purchase. Failure to do so will prevent reward points from being ordered and rewarded.
3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
3.1 Attendees are entitled to cancel their ticket purchase under the following conditions:
- Full refund for cancellations made 6 weeks or more before the event start.
- 50% refund for cancellations made between 3 and 6 weeks before the event.
- No refund for cancellations made less than 3 weeks before the event.
3.2 Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to letstalk@thebankofknowledge.co.uk.
4. TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
4.1 All travel, accommodation, and associated costs are the responsibility of the attendee and are not included in the ticket price.
4.2 While TBOK may provide recommendations for accommodation, any bookings or agreements are between the attendee and the third-party provider, with no liability assumed by TBOK or OTT.
5. LIABILITY AND HEALTH PRECAUTIONS
5.1 TBOK and OTT are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or losses incurred during travel to or attendance at the event, except in cases of gross negligence.
5.2 Attendees are responsible for ensuring they are in good health to participate and must comply with any public health guidelines that may be in effect at the time of the event.
6. EVENT CHANGES
6.1 TBOK and OTT reserve the right to modify the event schedule, speakers, or venue if necessary. Attendees will be notified of significant changes, and in the event of a major alteration, partial or full refunds may be provided at TBOK’s discretion.
7. COMPLAINTS AND ENQUIRIES
7.1 Any complaints or enquiries regarding the event should be directed to TBOK at letstalk@thebankofknowledge.co.uk. For event-related concerns, OTT may also be contacted, but TBOK will remain the primary point of contact for all ticketing and administrative issues.
8. FORCE MAJEURE
8.1 TBOK and OTT shall not be held liable for the cancellation, rescheduling, or modification of the event due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, travel disruptions, or government regulations. In such cases, TBOK may, at its discretion, offer a refund or defer the ticket to a future event.
9. DATA PROTECTION
9.1 Attendees’ data will be collected and used solely for event-related purposes, in accordance with TBOK’s data protection policies. Any data sharing with third parties, such as CH4B for the rewards program, will be in compliance with relevant privacy regulations.
10. LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Agreement is subject to English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in connection with any dispute hereunder.
